Bobby Steiner
:: Teaching Professional

Bobby Steiner, a native Hoosier (originally from North Vernon, Indiana) works with golfers of all levels through many different channels.

Since 1999, Bobby has spent the winter months teaching golf at The Westin Mission Hills Resort in Rancho Mirage, California. Bobby also worked as Director of Instruction (summers, 2000 – 2002) at Eagle Ridge Inn and Resort, a 63-hole facility in Galena Illinois.

In addition to hands-on instruction, Bobby’s instruction column, Golf, Heart and Soul, has appeared, since 2001, in newspapers across the country. His literary instruction book, MUNIE ~ The Jitterbug Collection, was named the 2006 Golf Book of the Year by Golf America Magazine; Bobby authored the instructional DVD, Power Golf Tips with Bobby Steiner.

Bobby is the current host of the Golfpac Travel and Golf Show, based in Orlando, Florida and is the spokesman for Pro Golf Tools and Tempo Tuner.

Steiner’s teaching philosophy is simple: “Students don’t remember everything I say, but they do remember how our time together made them feel. If golf instruction feels like golf, they’ll work on it a fair bit. If it feels like geometry class, forget it.”

Bobby says he’s looking forward to a summer back in Indiana. “My 20-year high school class reunion is this summer, and being so close means I’ll likely get to attend. North Vernon is only a little over an hour away, so I’ll get to spend time with my Dad too. It should be a great summer!”
